My Running Must Haves

Throughout my running journey, I’ve come across many items which I would recommend to help with running.
1. Freetrain - www.freetrain.co.uk

This is something I just couldn’t be without. I used to always run with a waist belt but could never get used it and it used to bug me! Since wearing the Freetrain, I don’t even notice I’ve got it on! There is space for my phone, key and a gel. There are two styles of Freetrain – a black one or a reflective one. For me, this is so important as I don’t ever go for a run without my phone anymore.
2. Hygge Bands - www.hyggebands.com

I’ve had a few Hygge Bands for some years now and I couldn’t be without them in the winter. They are so versatile and can be worn in so many ways. I tend to wear them around my head as a headband or around my neck as a snood. They normally have fantastic offers on the website, so they are definitely worth checking out.
3. Compression Socks - https://www.runnersworld.com/gear/a20863096/best-compression-socks/

I never used to rate compression socks and to be honest, I thought they looked a little silly. That was until I tried them! I much prefer to run in shorts than leggings so these also help to keep my legs warm as well as compressing the muscles to help me with any calf tightness / shin pain that I may have.
4. Aftershokz Titanium Headphones - www.aftershokz.co.uk

These have been a lifesaver for me! I suffer from hearing loss in my left ear however as these are bone conduction headphones, I can still hear whatever I’m listening to, albeit not perfectly due to my hearing loss. I also love how I can still hear what is going on around me, like traffic, as well as hearing whatever I am playing.
5. Ultra Recovery Massage Gun - www.ultra-recovery.com

I’d been looking at purchasing one of these for a while, so when Ultra Recovery reached out with an offer, I jumped at it. It really helps to loosen up my muscles when they’re feeling tight and I feel it helps me to avoid injury. I also have a discount code for Ultra Recovery – use code AMY to get a huge 20% off!
